On 13th November Learning Curves held an IDTA Freestyle examination session. We hold 2 each year at the Dance School, and have done for the past 13 years since Learning Curves began back in 1998. It was based on their performance at this exam session that they were nominated by the examiner.
Candidates for the IDTA Freestyle Scholarships are initially nominated by the Association’s Examiners when taking a Freestyle Solo Exam at Star 1 level or above, through a qualified teacher. Candidates must obtain a mark of at least 90% or above and show exceptional potential. Amber, Emma and Lily along with other nominees from around the UK will be attending The IDTA Scholarships on May 12th 2012 where they will be judged on a class performance and also when presenting a solo piece. Fingers crossed they are successful and receive the Scholarships for their age category!
We’re so proud of our students at Learning Curves, they are a credit to the School and to their parents. Their achievements couldn’t be possible without the hard work and creativity from an incredibly hard working team of teachers!
