Crazy glitter girl full of passion for anything dance!
Jennie joined Learning Curves as a student at the age of 11 and was the first ever student to gain top marks (Honours) for every Freestyle exam taken. Jenn was also the first of Learning Curves’ students to be trained by Lian to professional level and in 2005 gained her IDTA Associate status with a 90% pass rate.
Jennie is now a full time member of the Learning Curves team. Always a talented student she has now developed into a talented teacher.
Jenn’s area of expertise is contemporary dance; she established Learning Curves’ first contemporary class with Emma in 2007 to give Learning Curves students the opportunity to branch out into British and American contemporary dance styles. Jennie will soon be attending University to work towards a degree in dance, all in the name of furthering the opportunities for Learning Curves contemporary dancers. Jenn is also responsible for choreographing the JEMz contemporary team that performs every year at the world famous Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London.
Jennie really “Lives to Dance” and passes on her enthusiasm to the students she trains for freestyle exams and teaches in after school clubs. Jenn has trained the Junior Mardi Gras team since 2007, preparing them for annual London performances at theatres including the Royal Albert Hall. Jenn also works closely with sister school StarStruck Theatre School.
Jennie has also recently gained her LEVEL 4 COACHING QUALIFICATION in Cheerleading with the BCA/NCSSE!
If you want to know about choreographers or dance in education, be it school, college, university, Jennie’s the person to see! We wish Jennie the best of luck as she goes to De Montford University in Leceister to study whatelse but DANCE! But don’t worry she will still be teaching her Learning Curves classes!
